Stiefel RP1 insect stop gel is a highly effective insect repellent with active protection against ticks and insects in gel form in accordance with the biocide ordinance. Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel is particularly suitable for sensitive areas and horses that are sensitive to spray, as the gel is applied to the horse with the sponge provided. In addition, Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel works without alcohol and can therefore also be used on horses with eczema.
The active ingredient Saltidin® (Icaridin) is almost odorless to humans and does not bother humans or horses with an unpleasant smell. Insects, on the other hand, perceive odors using sensors and are deterred by the repellent.
When RP1 is applied to the fur, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin, protective cloud of scent that can last for several hours. In addition, the active ingredient Icaridin® is very well tolerated by the skin and is therefore also suitable for riders.
For the correct application of the repellents, it is very important to apply them correctly and over the entire area: the combination of spray and gel achieves maximum effectiveness with minimum consumption. The spray is used for the large areas, while the gel is used for targeted application under the stomach and for the sensitive areas on the head.
Boots RP1 have already been awarded several times as a test winner and with a seal of approval.

Application
Apply Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel sparingly to the desired parts of the body. Avoid sensitive parts of the body (eyes, ears, nostrils and mucous membranes). Active protection kicks in immediately. Gel to protect against insects with Icaridin (Saltidin)
